About the hotel
Situated on a peaceful hillside and surrounded by olive trees and typical Mediterranean vegetation, this residence is the ideal destination for those wishing to relax and immerse themselves in nature.
The Residence Trivento, founded in 1985, consists of fifty self-catering units divided into two different groups and a sports and leisure centre. Both groups boast close proximity to the enchanting sandy beach of Arco Naturale and are situated approximately 2.5 km from the centre of the fishing village of Palinuro.
After a morning spent relaxing on the beach and admiring its rocky cliffs and caves, you could benefit from the residence’s host of sports facilities, including archery equipment, a volleyball field, 2 swimming pools and a free mini-club for children from the ages of 5 to 10. In the evening, you can enjoy the hotel’s nightly entertainment, or savour a meal at one of the nearby restaurants.
The hotel’s facilities include: a reception office with English-speaking staff; 2 separate swimming-pools (open from 25 April to 25 October), one for adults and a shallow one for children with deck-chairs and sun umbrellas; flood-lit tennis court; table-tennis; bowls; football and volleyball field; archery; video games; a children's mini club for 5-10 year-olds (from 10 May to 24 May and from 21 June to 13 September); snack bar; live day-night entertainment and a daily activity programme, that includes boat trips and excursions to Cilento Park in the San Lorenzo Charterhouse Padula, oasis of WWF in Morigerati, historical excursions in Paestum, Velia, Pompei; boat excursions on the coast of Capo Palinuro and Marina di Camerota.

The villas, each of them divided into 2 or 3 self-contained apartments with roof terraces, complete with table, chairs and deck-chairs, are situated on the hill and are surrounded by rich Mediterranean vegetation. They have a splendid panoramic view of Cape Palinuro and the beach of Mingardo.

The hotel's Sports and Leisure Centre also has a snack-bar, which is open from 08.00-24.00.
Directions
The nearest airport is Napoli Capodichino (NAP) - 180 km from the Residence.
By train:
- You can catch any train running along the stretch Napoli - Reggio Calabria (if coming from the North) or Reggio Calabria - Napoli (if coming from the South).
- Get off at Centola.
- From here you can take the free transfer service to the residence.
By car:
From the North:
- Take the A3 motorway, Salerno - Reggio Calabria.
- Exit at Battipaglia.
- Join the SS18 towards Agropoli/Vallo della Lucania/Futani.
- Exit at Poderia.
- Then, following the road signs to Palinuro, drive on the SR562, which runs along the river Mingardo.
- At the end of this road, on the right, at the Fiat Showroom, turn right into a small street. At the next crossing, turn right again and then left soon after.
- After 50 metres you will find the hotel car park and reception.
Coming from the South:
- Take the A3 motorway, Salerno - Reggio Calabria.
- Exit at Buonabitacolo.
- Join the SS517.
- At Policastro Bussentino, turn right toward the SS18.
- Drive further along this road and take the exit to Poderia.
- Then, following the road signs to Palinuro, drive on the SR562, which runs along the river Mingardo.
- At the end of this road, on the right, at the Fiat Showroom, turn right into a small street. At the next crossing, turn right again and then left soon after.
- After 50 metres you will find the hotel car park and reception.
