About the hotel
Our late 14th-century countryside hotel, set in the heart of Hauzenberg, has been a family property for 150 years, backing onto calming gardens and meadows; ideal for a relaxing escape.
During your stay, you can relax by the canopied pool with separate gym and solarium, whilst children will love to play on the large lawn.
The hotel benefits from its own restaurant and café, as well as its own bakery, so you can enjoy freshly prepared food each day. The car park at the hotel is free of charge.
Our cosy, traditional country side hotel “zum Stemplinger Hansl” is located in the heart of Hauzenberg since 1873. This village is an accredited sanatorium in the beautiful Bavarian woods. The family run and family oriented hotel has its entrance at the pedestrian area of Hauzenberg, while the back leads out to the calm garden and meadows.
Apart from having its own restaurant and café, the hotel also houses its own bakery, hence offering fresh daily pastries.
In our back yard you will find our large lawn for sunbathing, a small children’s playground with a pavilion and our newly constructed heated and canopied pool.
In our house you can choose from different restaurants. Kids will be in good hands in our “Kinderland mit Bällebad”. By request our “Stemplinger Nanny” will watch over your children, while you visit the town.
Use of the sauna is included in the room rate.

Cancellations
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

All children from 6 to 9 years are charged EUR 12.50 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged EUR 40.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

For sun loving folks we have a beautiful beer garden and a pavilion with barbeque station.
Let yourself be pampered by us. The chief of our house (that’s a female chief, mind you) supervises the kitchen and will delight you with various regional and over regional culinary foods. Our kitchen is known for its use of fresh and quality produces.
Little guests can enjoy the savoury treats of our “Zwergerlkarte”!

Coming from Passau (approx. 25 minutes drive), go to Hauzenberg and stop in the center of town. Now just keep going towards the spire and you’ll see our hotel!
