About the hotel
The Riviera Hotel is a well-known Dorset landmark that has welcomed holidaymakers to its location for over 70 years. The hotel has direct access to the beach and offers fantastic views across the bay of Weymouth and Portland. The Riviera is designed in Art Deco style of architecture and the accommodation is outside the main building and is connected by covered pathways. The large ballroom, fully refurbished and is the focal point every evening for live entertainment, dancing and shows.
The Riviera Hotel is a chalet style hotel that offers traditional hospitality throughout the year. There is an abundance of free parking. Most of the year the Riviera is exclusively for adults, though we cater for children during the summer holidays.

Entrance to the rooms is via a covered walkway. All bedrooms have either a sea or garden views. Some have already been fully refurbished with an on-going project to complete the remaining rooms.

Single rooms are available with a sea or garden view, situated on the ground and 1st floor. One single room has been adapted to suit a disabled person, please state when booking if you require this room.

Rooms are front facing and situated over 2 floors. Some 1st floor rooms have lift access. Some rooms have steps leading up to the bathrooms.

Bowleaze Rooms more info
These rooms are situated to the rear of the main building and offer countryside views. Each room has either a double and a single bed or 2 single beds for 2 or 3 adults. The Bowleaze rooms are on 2 floors with no lift.

Directions
The Riviera is situated at Bowleaze Cove approximately 2 and a half miles from Weymouth town centre.
From Weymouth Esplanade:
- Follow the A353, signposted for Preston.
- At the end of the beach road turn right into Bowleaze Coveway.
- Follow this road to the end where you will find the hotel.
