About the hotel
This charming 16th century coach house is located in the centre of Calne, one of Wiltshire’s oldest market towns. The décor tastefully incorporates many of the building’s traditional features, such as oak beams and original fireplaces.
The lively bar offers good drink and atmosphere especially at the weekend when you can also enjoy live music (most weekends). The menu, although basic, includes many traditional homemade meals.

Directions
By Car (from Bristol):
- Follow the A420 to Chippenham.
- Exit on to the A4, which takes you directly to Calne.
- As you enter Calne, head straight across at the first roundabout.
- Continue straight on through the traffic lights by the library.
- Carry straight on across the second roundabout.
- The hotel is situated on the left, just off the second mini-roundabout.
By Car (from London):
- Head west on the M4.
- Exit at junction 14, towards Hungerford on the A4.
- Follow the A4 through Hungerford, Marlborough and Cherhill to Calne.
- Follow the road towards the town centre. The hotel is situated on the right-hand side just off the first mini-roundabout.
