Situated by the beach, and bordering the Pålsjö Forest nature reserve, we offer unique and picturesque views in a tranquil setting.
Located just a mile north of Helsingborg’s city centre, the guest house has bed and breakfast services. Large, individually decorated living rooms, with open fire places, as well as terraces overlooking the beach and gardens are available for you to relax in at the end of a long day's sightseeing.
To help you unwind, spa treatments and massages are available in the guest house, as well as vouchers to leading restaurants.
Other activities include horseback riding along the sea, wine-tastings, excursions and golf at any of the various local courses. Transport can be arranged.
During the winter why not try a sauna, which offers panoramic views and, if you dare, follow that up with a dip in the icy water!

Here, you will find large personally decorated lounges with open fireplaces and beautiful terraces facing the sea. Guests from all over the world gather here, including Japan, Australia, South Africa, Brazil and the USA. The Guest-House is open all year.
You can enjoy our breakfast buffet with local specialities in the sun, have a swim in the sea (only 2 miles across the strait to Denmark) with the Hamlet castle of Kronborg facing you. You can have lunch in one of the many restaurants nearby, go for a walk in the nature reserve outside our garden just a mile from the Royal summer castle of Sofiero, and relax with a massage in the afternoon.

Cancellations
If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 20 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Deposit
20 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

All children are welcome. All children or adults are charged SEK 200.00 per night and person for extra beds. One child from 0 to 12 years is charged SEK 100.00 per night when using existing bedding. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.

Important Information
If the booking is regarding more than 1 room or longer than 2 nights the remaining 80%, after deposit has been paid, will be charged 4 weeks before arrival. In case of cancellation 2 weeks prior to date of arrival 50% of the charged amount will be refunded. If canceled later, 30% of the charged amount will be refunded.
Please inform the guest house at least one day before arrival at what time you would like to arrive. You will find the hotel's telephone number in your booking confirmation. Check-in time is between 15:00-18:00. Arrivals later or earlier than this need to be arranged with the guest house and will be charged an additional cost of SEK 200.
Please note that smoking is not allowed within the garden.
Room information
All hotel rooms contain very comfortable beds. Beds can be queen size, king size or room can have two separate single beds (twin).
One child is always allowed to sleep in the parent’s bed for an extra cost which can be found from your booking confirmation.
If you book a room for more than 2 guests, the other guests will sleep in roll-away extra beds.
Cleaning is only included on the day of departure however extra cleaning can be arranged at a surcharge.
Superior Double B&B more info
This spacious room has a large terrace and enjoys stunning sea views overlooking the lights of Denmark. There is a King size bed (180 x 200) but twin beds are available at a surcharge of SEK 100. Book 2 nights and receive a complimentary 30 minute anti stress massage, only available from September to April. Toilet and shower cabin is shared with one other room. There is a connecting door to the double queen-size room. If you book both rooms then this forms a suite with one toilet and shower cabin in common.

Restaurants and Bars
A large breakfast buffet, with a Scandinavian touch, is served to B&B guests each morning beetwen 09.00-10.00.
It is possible to order half-board via catering from Sweden's first TV chef!
The dining room, kitchenette and terrace tables are available for catered or microwaved meals between 12.00 - 22.00.
There is an excellent restaurant 200 yards away and is open all year round while during May-September several restaurants and cafe´s operate that are less than a mile away.
Helsingborg takes pride in having the most outdoor eateries and some of the leading restaurants in Sweden. We have bargain deals with the restaurant Gastro, which during 2008 was ranked as having the 9th best food in Sweden and won the "most worth a visit" award!
Directions
Please let the guest house know your estimated arrival time well in advance. The telephone number is on your confirmation email.
By Car:
- Take the E4 and exit for Helsingborg, North.
- Follow the road for centrum (centre).
- The road ends in a T-junction with the theatre in front of you. Turn right for Sofiero.
- Continue for Drottninggatan, along the coast. The street bends under a railway bridge, and you will see the Pire, pictured above, at the far end.
- Pass the beach restaurant, Pålsjö Krog, and the bus stop. The guest house is 100 yards away (Drottningg 216 A).
Alternatively, take the E4 and exit Helsingborg, South.
- Follow signs for centrum. The road changes it's name to Drottninggatan at the City Hall.
- Continue as above.
From the ferry port:
- Follow signs for centrum and continue onto Drottninggatan.
- Continue as above.
By ferry/train/bus station Knutpunkten
NB! free ride if you show valid train ticket!:
- Cross the street to the bus stop and take the number 219 bus heading north for Domsten.
- After 10 minutes, get off at bus stop "Dag Hammarsköld väg". (The name will appear digitally on the bus. When it does, press the bell to stop.) This is stop no 8 after you entered the bus.
- Walk 100 yards north towards a big blue sign that says Sundets Pärla B&B.
