About the hotel
The Cross Hands is popular with, among others, country lovers, horse racing fans, motor racers, golfers and young couples; and our own dear Queen sought shelter here during a blizzard in 1981.
Those who like a bit of spooky history might like to know that the cellars were once used to house convicted criminals, sentenced to death by 'Bloody' Judge Jeffreys. Nowadays, the hotel is noted for the excellence of the cuisine at its Beaufort Restaurant and the extensive wine list. The oak-beamed Beaufort Bar serves a range of traditional ales and good bar food. Conveniently located just 16 miles from Bristol.

Cancellations prior to 1st December 2008 will result in a 50% refund, with those made after 1st December resulting in 25% refund of the total booking.
