Hem Hotel 't Tolhuus offers all the food & beverage facilities you might need.
We welcome our guest for breakfast in the breakfast room or on our terrace (weather permitting).
For lunch, tea and coffee "The Serre" is a bright and sunny place to spend the afternoon. Our restaurant offers a la carte choices as well as daily specials.
All food and beverage locations have been renovated spring 2008, including our restaurant outlets, the bar, TV lounge and billiard room.
Directions
Public Transport (from Amsterdam Central Station):
- Take bus number 114 (direction Hoorn).
- Get off at the bus stop Oosthuizen.
- From here the hotel is 4 km on foot.
If you would like to take a taxi, get off the bus in Edam instead of Oosthuizen. At the bus station in Edam you can call a taxi
By Car (from A10 ring road Amsterdam):
- Leave the motorway taking exit S116 (Noord / Volendam) and follow directions for Volendam.
- This is the N 247. You will pass the villages Broek in Waterland, Monnickendam, Volendam and Edam.
- After approximately 20 km (about 3 km after Edam) you will see the signs Warder. Take this exit.
- Follow the road, with a sharp curve to the left.
- After approximately 800 meters take a left turn (you will already see signs with the hotel name).
- At the end of the road take a right turn.
- Then, at the end of the road take a left turn. This is the IJsselmeerdijk; the HEM Hotel’t Tolhuus is after 200 meters on your left.
Directions from Purmerend:
- Follow the signs towards Edam, you will enter the N 247.
- You will pass the villages Broek in Waterland, Monnickendam, Volendam and Edam.
- Follow above directions.
Directions from Beemster / Oosthuizen:
- In Oosthuizen you will see a sign at the roundabout of the N 247.
- You will see signs with the hotel name mentioned.
